# How to process a payment or payout for an affiliate/influencer?🤔
To **manage payouts,** navigate to the **Payouts tab.** Here, you can view all **payout details** and can **issue payments** as needed. To **view** the **payout details** of a **specific affiliate,** click on their **name.** You will see a breakdown of both **paid and unpaid payments.**
You can directly **create payouts in Zak** for any **pending unpaid amounts.** To do this, select the **unpaid payouts** and click on **Create Payouts.** You can also select **multiple outstanding payouts** and process them together in a **single payout.**
Select the **payment method** and **double-check the bank details** after connecting to our app. Additionally, ensure that the **affiliate's bank details** are accurate when they add them in the **Affiliate Portal.**
**Add a note, message, or invoice** if required, and **check the box** to confirm the payment has been **processed externally.** The **commission** will then be marked as **Paid** in the **affiliate’s account.** Finally, click **'Mark as Paid.'**
They will be **marked as paid,** and you can also verify this in the **affiliate details section.**
For **unassigned links,** you can create payouts following the **same process.** Navigate to the **Unassigned tab**, click on the **link,** select the **pending payout,** and **create the payout.** You can choose to process the payout either by **assigning the link to an affiliate or without assigning it.**
If you choose to **assign the link to an affiliate**, **all past records associated** with that link will be **attributed to the selected affiliate once the link is attached.**
The rest of the **steps** remain the **same:** select the **payment method, add details if needed, check the confirmation box,** and click on **'Mark as Paid.'**\
